The Seiko Prospex SPB453J1 1965 Heritage Diver "Cove Black" is a modern interpretation of Japan's first diver's watch, featuring a deep black dial and 300 meters of water resistance. The 40mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating houses the Seiko 6R55 automatic caliber with 24 jewels and a 72-hour power reserve – three days of continuous operation without winding. A unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and LumiBrite coating on the hands, markers, and bezel make this watch a professional diving instrument. The stainless steel bracelet with a triple-fold clasp, secure lock, and diver's extension ensures a perfect fit on the wrist, while a magnetic resistance of 4800 A/m protects against magnetic fields. A weight of 168g and a lug-to-lug distance of 46.4mm provide a balanced and comfortable presence on the wrist.
